A Talk with Katsuhiro Izumi on AFAID13

Hello everyone! It's really been awhile since my last entry, but worry not since I'm still breathing and pretty much alive, it's just I don't have any worth material for a new entry on this blog. I won't do any other VN summaries anytime soon (planned to do Sena and Rika route for Haganai Portable but my PSP busted) and as for the figure review, I still haven't buy a new camera yet. I have many new figures but without a decent camera, I don't have any motivation to do the usual review. I still take some pictures of those new figures I posted on my Instagram, follow me @bakanki if you're interested.

Anyway, today on this post I'd like to share my conversation with Mr. Katsuhiro Izumi on Bima Satria Garuda booth on Anime Festival Asia Indonesia 13 yesterday. If you don't know yet, Bima Satria Garuda is the first Indonesia tokusatsu hero created by MNC Media with Ishimori Production cooperation. As for who Katsuhiro Izumi is, he is the current Chief Producer/Designer at Bandai HK as well as the toys designer of Bima Satria Garuda series.

AFA ID 2012

It's already been almost a month after the event and after promise to write an entry to report this event, I lost my will to write and also material to be shared since after second thought, I realized I already wrote most exciting moments about Figmania booth and bless4, lol. But oh well, might write a little more outside of those.

AFA ID 2012 - bless4

It's been more than 2 weeks so it's very late but I still want to share my experience from Anime Festival Asia Indonesia 2012 (I'll call it AFA-ID from this point for the sake of convenience), but on this entry I'll cover the reason why I spent extra money to buy ticket even though I have an Exhibitor pass, bless4!

bless4 is the singer group who anime fans will probably know from the legendary "Sousei no Aquarion" song, the first opening song from the anime who has same title. They also sang most of the songs from Aquarion EVOL, the sequel of the said anime. For more informations of the group, you can just Google it or check it on their Wikipedia entry. On the AFA-ID, they were one of the performers who announced later and just like I said, once they had confirmed to perform on the event, I instantly contact my friend to order me a ticket so I didn't have to wait for another 12,000 years to see their performance!

Meeting with Aki Takanori!

So yeah, I'm working as one of staff for Figma circle/community I joined, Figmania, for AFA-ID that will be held tomorrow and Sunday. When we're loading, preparing for our booth, Aki Takanori-san, the big man from Good Smile Company himself came and praised our collection, even though the language barrier was there, haha.
