Meeting with Aki Takanori!

So yeah, I'm working as one of staff for Figma circle/community I joined, Figmania, for AFA-ID that will be held tomorrow and Sunday. When we're loading, preparing for our booth, Aki Takanori-san, the big man from Good Smile Company himself came and praised our collection, even though the language barrier was there, haha.

Good day guys! As promised weeks ago, this is the review of FAF DX (Full Action Figure Deluxe) of Huckebein Mk-II from Super Robot Taisen Original Generation video game series, manufactured by Banpresto and an exclusive Dengeki Hobby item sold only on Japan. This is an old figure, not vintage level old but quite old, but as I'm quite lazy to dig information of this product, please bear with me XP

Photo Kano (フォトカノ) ~ Review

On this entry, I'd like to write.... well, some sort of review of Photo Kano, love simulation game for PSP handheld originally released on February 2nd 2012. Photo Kano is developed by Dingo Inc, published by Kadokawa Games, and copyrighted by Enterbrain.

Actually, I played this game to kill time while waiting Haganai and the second OreImo game back then but turns out it really consumed my time as I really enjoyed playing it, despite my poor understanding of Japanese, lol. I never played any love simulation game before, except for Love Plus, so I don't have any other game as benchmark, but I thought this game is really enjoyable. Great character design, great acting by all the voice actors and actresses, great music, enjoyable stories, and good game play. Wait, why I wrote the conclusions even before the actual review, silly me. Well then, here's the review~

This was on my room when I came home tonight, Banpresto & Dengeki Hobby exclusive, SRWOG: FAF-004DX RTX-010-01 Huckebein Mk-II

Actually I had my eyes on the original Huckebein instead, but turned out so did my friend, even before me. Oh well, at least Mk-II is perfect to be displayed as ATX Team units with SRC Alteisen and Weissritter since Bullet once piloted this baby. And let's just face it, after who knows what really happen with Sunrise, we won't get another figure of whatever version of Huckebein anymore since we're stuck with Exbeine.

Lastly, expect a review of it soon :)

OreImo Portable 2 - Kirino Route Summary

This is the summary for Kousaka Kirino route from the 'Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai Portable ga Tsudzuku Wake ga Nai" PSP game. Read at your own risk because it contains spoilers. And do note this is only a fan translation, my Japanese is still sucks and my English writing isn't any better ^^;

Her following story is not a continuation of any of her route from the previous game, but it takes alternate take of same condition of her Alternate If route where she and Kyousuke aren't blood related, as Kyousuke is the son of Yoshino's sibling (whose status never stated further). On the first game, at the end Kirino already called Kyousuke by his name and later confessed that she likes him, but on the second game she hasn't done those yet, as they remain consider each other sibling when the story starts here. Well then, on to the summary~

OreImo Portable 2 - Hinata & Tamaki Route Summary

This is the summary for the other Gokou sibling, the little sisters of Kuroneko, Gokou Hinata and Gokou Tamaki from the 'Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai Portable ga Tsudzuku Wake ga Nai" PSP game. Read at your own risk because it contains spoilers. And do note this is only a fan translation, my Japanese is still sucks and my English writing skill isn't any better :3.

This route can be considered as secret route, since you have to beat another route first before unlocking this route. I never noticed before but apparently Hinata is also voiced by Hanazawa Kana like Kuroneko; Has Hinata appeared on the anime, I forgot. Anyway, on to the summary!!

To be able to get to this route, you have to go to Kanako route first to get the ‘Lolicon’ ORE Item. After you get it, start the game from the beginning and answer Kiririn and Kuronyan question that you have played the first game and you have a girlfriend already, but when they ask you whether you girlfriend is on middle school or high school don’t pick neither, just get through with it. Then the ‘Lolicon’ ORE Item will appear so you can choose it.

One of my favorite Gundam of all time. In fact Wing Zero Custom is the one who got me into Gundam after I  first saw it on SRW Alpha Gaiden on PS1. This is the Robot Damashii figure, by the way :3

OreImo Portable 2 - Kanako Route Summary

This is summary for Kurusu Kanako route from the 'Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai Portable ga Tsudzuku Wake ga Nai" PSP game. Read at your own risk because it contains spoilers. And do note this is only a fan translation, my Japanese is still sucks and my English writing skill isn't any better :3

On the first game, she appeared as sub heroine as her route was only the Alternate If route branched from Ayase's. This time she got promoted to the one of main heroines, in fact her route has the most number of the events even compared to Kirino, the main girl on the series. On this route which is direct sequel from her previous If route, you'll meet a character hasn't appeared on the anime yet (but has appeared on the light novel), her big sister, Kurusu Kanata; a friend of Saori and in fact who passed her the twirly glasses and also the original author of Maschera series that Kuroneko loves. Anyway, here is the summaries, and to quote Kanata, "LOLICON BANZAI!!"

To unlock Kanako route, on the common route when the destiny fairy Kiririn and Kuronyan ask you, you have to say that you have played the first game, you already have a girlfriend, your girlfriend is on middle school, and she has sibling. You’ll get the ORE Item to go spend time with Kanako that can be used shortly after the scene Kyousuke wake up on his room.

OreImo Portable 2 - CG Commentary Translation

This time it's not summary, but as the title said it's the translation for the CG commentary of the Ore no Imouto ga Konna ni Kawaii Wake ga Nai Portable ga Tsudzuku Wake ga Nai (wow, that's mouthful). On this game, there's omake part where we can see all the CG artworks we've unlocked and there's a function to hear the commentary spoken by certain characters regarding the picture.

Now, I'm not covering all the CG because my Japanese is sucks as hell so I just cover all those I understand and of course interesting/funny. Well then, enjoy~

This is the summary from PapaKiki PSP game of Takanashi Sora route. Be warned for spoiler, and this is only a fan summary as I'm not really fluent in both Japanese and English, pardon for some mistakes here and there.

At the Parent Day on Hina's kindergarten, Yuuta was called 'papa' by Hina, Miu, and Sora since he become the parent for Hina.But shortly after that Sora called him 'onii-chan' back, because she needs Yuuta to be Yuuta, not her papa.

Days later, aunt Yoshiko came to their apartment and acknowledged Yuuta worth to be the girls guardian and now they can live together. Sora then plans to make dinner for Yuuta, using Yuri's pumpkin soup recipe. But she has hard time preparing it so Miu whom overheard her plan calls Nimura and Raika to help her; and Miu said to Sora she also has surprise for Sora that she won't reveal yet. So as Sora's preparing the dinner with Raika and Nimura, Miu and Hina make Yuuta busy outside so he won't come inside.

When Yuuta comes back, Miu said she will stay over at Raika's house with Hina. Her surprise for Sora is to let Sora and Yuuta have time together. Sora then prepares the food for Yuuta after she embarrassed she's alone with Yuuta. When Yuuta tasted her cooking, he said that it reminds him of Yuri's, making Sora happy. After taking a bath (of course separately xP), they decide to sleep, with the usual using curtain as the partition.

Both of them can't sleep because they've used to sleep while being cramped, and since Miu and Hina are not there it feels different. Sora then asks if it's okay to move to Yuuta's side.

Every Rider Needs a Ride

So yeah, Kuuga is the only Kiwami-Tamashii main Rider I have that doesn't have its own ride. Hoping Bandai will make a Try Chaser or Beat Chaser with Gouram so it will have combine gimmick, and of course crossing finger it won't be expensive, or at least not a web-exclusive >3<

Game demo, Papa no Iu Koto wo Kikinasai - Raika Route Summary

This is the summary from PapaKiki PSP game. I wrote this months ago originally on figure.fm and Animesuki board but figured I should write (or rather, post) it on my personal blog as well. Do note that I'm not really fluent on Japanese nor I am a translator, so this is only a fan-translate.

The common route is basically the same like what shown on the anime or the volume 1 of the light novel, you as Yuuta has to take care of the three 'daughters' while maintaining your college life and that shenanigans but with less plot. It ends with the Parents Day on Hina kindergarten and from then you'll end up with the girl route/story whom the closest to you depending on your action throughout the game.

Here's To a New Start

I've been having account here since year ago, but I never used it. Why? Because I'm already use to my previous blog on Multiply. But again, why suddenly I start blogging here? Unfortunately Multiply's new CEO decide to change its direction to e-commerce and deleting all sharing and blogging functions there, starting this December. So here I am now.

But I never introduced myself, am I? You can call me Anki. I'm Indonesian and just like written on my profile on the right side, I'm an action figure collector and a casual Japanese and Western pop culture fan, especially anime, manga, and tokusatsu. So in the future if I decide to keep blogging here, you can expect posts filled with my action figure photo collection, a review or thought about anime/manga/tokusatsu I'm following, and some randomness revolving those themes on this blog.

Well, that's all for the introduction, hope I can bring you something to enjoy and forget real life for a while. Here's to a new start~
